Today is a day of gratitude, hope, love, friendship and happiness. At the beginning of this month, Mango announced that in January of 2014, the firm will launch a new fashion line called Violeta, for young women from sizes 12 to 24. The controversy did not await and the company received strong criticism. Even a petition was created in change.org to call for the withdrawal of the campaign, which remains open. The most criticized? The inclusion of size 12 as a special size.

Oscar de la Renta for The Outnet

Last week we received great news! Oscar de la Renta has created, for the second time, an exclusive collection for The Outnet, the little sister of the luxury online store Net-a-Porter. The 19-piece collection, modelled by Miroslava Duma, will go on sale at theoutnet.com tomorrow December 17th and the prices range from $325 for a tank to $1.095 for a floor-lenght dress.

Chanel Métiers d’Art Show 2013-14: Pre-Autumn/Winter 2014-15, Dallas

Once more, Karl Lagerfeld, the designer and creative director of Chanel, presented one of the most spectacular shows from the Maison: Métiers d'Art. With the title "Paris-Dallas", the show of the collection 2013-14 was held December 10th with an invitation-only at the heart of Texas, Dallas, and more specifically at Dallas Fair Park, a historical place of the city famous for its art-decó architecture. Leathers, ponchos, hats and boots are some of the suggestions of the firm for the Chanel pre-autumn 2014 collection. Let us take a look at how Karl translated the inspiration he took from Dallas to its clothes.

Un año más, Karl Lagerfeld, el diseñador y director artístico de Chanel, ha presentado uno de los shows más espectaculares de la Maison: el desfile Métiers d’Art. Bajo el título “París-Dallas”, el desfile de la colección 2013-14 se celebró el pasado 10 de diciembre de forma restringidísima en el corazón de Texas, Dallas, y más concretamente en el Dallas Fair Park, un lugar histórico de la ciudad famoso por su arquitectura art-decó.
