Eslow Market launches a secondhand pop-up store

If you like buying second-hand clothes, do not miss the new pop-up store organized by Eslow Market in Barcelona, in collaboration with the second-hand stores Humana. The event is taking place today Friday 22 (from 1 pm to 8 pm) and tomorrow May Saturday 23 (from 11 am to 9 pm) at the Gala Coworking space (C/Sant Gabril 22, local), in Gràcia. It's an opportunity to buy unique pieces!

Moritz Feed Dog: The First Documentary Film Festival on Fashion in Spain

The first documentary fashion film festival in Spain Moritz Feed Dog is kicking off tomorrow in Barcelona. From May 14 to 17, the festival –in its first edition- will showcase ten amazing fashion documentaries from Dior and I to Traceable. Keep reading to see the program! Because if you cannot attend the event, at least you will have a list of films to watch when you have the opportunity. The official hashtag chosen for the Festival is #lamodaescultura [which means that 'Fashion is Culture']. Next, see the program and the trailers of the films.

El primer festival de cine documental sobre moda en España Moritz Feed Dog se estrena mañana en Barcelona. Del 14 al 17 de mayo, el festival –en su primera edición- mostrará diez interesantes documentales de moda desde Dior and I hasta Traceable. ¡Seguid leyendo para leer el programa! The Can't Miss Sustainable Fashion and Beauty Pop-Up Store in Barcelona

The e-commerce multibrand platform Moves To Slow Fashion –pioneer of the sale of sustainable fashion in Spain- is celebrating its first anniversary with the "EcoFashion Beauty Event", the first sustainable fashion and beauty pop-up store in Spain. The event will gather more than 50 fashion firms that advocate sustainability and also ecological and natural cosmetic firms. It will take place during May 7, 8 and 9 in Barcelona, at MUTUO Centro de Arte, at C/Julia Porter 5 –behind the Cathedral-. Exceptional creations from talented women at 'Morocco, desert colours' exhibition

VIBRANT HANDCRAFT. Morocco, desert colours is an exhibition that highlights the talents of some exceptional women weavers, who started to weave in the 1980s, from a very little-known Berber tribe, Aït Khebbach. The exhibit features their colourful carpets, blankets and cushions with surprising colour palettes, which are made from recycled wool. The exceptional pieces, which have left the desert for the first time, are displayed together with the portraits of the women who made them. French photographers Eric Ossart and Serge Anton introduce us to the lives of these women with video projections, pictures and soundscapes. ARTESANÍA VIBRANTE. Marroc. Colors dels desert –Marruecos. Colores del desierto- es una exposición itinerante que destaca el talento de algunas mujeres de la poco conocida tribu bereber de Aït Khabbach, que tejen desde los años 80. La muestra expone sus alfombras, almohadas y mantas con sorprendentes gamas de colores, todas ellas elaboradas a partir de lana reciclada. Las excepcionales piezas, que han abandonado el desierto por primera vez, se muestran junto con un retrato de la mujer que las ha confeccionado. Los fotógrafos franceses Eric Ossart y Serge Anton nos introducen en las vidas de estas mujeres a través de vídeos y fotografías. Descubre las creaciones textiles de esta tribu de Marruecos...

Fashion experts to meet at the Barcelona Fashion Summit 2015

On February 5, Barcelona will host a professional forum of reference in Spain about fashion: Barcelona Fashion Summit, which will take place in the Palau de la Música Catalana. The event, in its third edition, will gather 20 leaders in the business of fashion to discuss the challenges for fashion in the digital scene.

El próximo 5 de febrero Barcelona albergará un foro profesional de referencia en España sobre moda: Barcelona Fashion Summit, que se celebrará en el Palau de la Música Catalana. El evento, en su tercera edición, reunirá a más de 20 líderes del negocio de la moda para discutir los retos del sector en el entorno digital.

Save the date! Fashion Revolution Day

Next April 24 2014 a brand new initiative will take place around the world: Fashion Revolution Day, coinciding with the first anniversary of the factory complex Rana Plaza disaster in Dhaka (Bangladesh), where 1133 people were killed when the building collapsed. The global campaign's aim is to turn "fashion into a force for good." In Barcelona (Spain) a fashion show based on ethics and sustainability will be held at Palau Robert (at 5 pm, 6 pm and 7 pm). 

El próximo 24 de abril tendrá lugar la iniciativa global Fashion Revolution Day, coincidiendo con el primer aniversario del desastre de la fábrica textil Rana Plaza en Dhaka (Bangladesh), donde 1133 personas murieron por causa del derrumbe del edificio. El objetivo de la campaña es transformar la moda en una fuerza positiva. Barcelona acogerá un desfile de moda sostenible en el Palau Robert (habrás tres pases: a las 17 h, las 18 h y las 19 h).

Santa Eulalia Outlet: luxury at a better price

The luxury fashion store Santa Eulalia, one of the most emblematic boutiques in Barcelona, organizes next 14, 15 and 16 november 2013 its autumn/winter outlet. Madrid Fashion Film Festival

Grab your agenda, because at the end of this month Madrid is carrying out its first International Fashion Film Festival. We are talking about Madrid FFF, which is an open competition for professionals and non-professionals of the audiovisual, fashion and advertising fields. The Festival will take place in the Cineteca of the Contemporary Art Center Matadero Madrid between October 28th and November 3rd, 2013.     

Coged vuestra agenda porque a final de mes Madrid acoge su primer Festival Internacional de Fashion Film. Hablamos de Madrid FFF, un certamen abierto a profesionales y a estudiantes del sector del audiovisual en moda y publicidad. El Festival tendrá lugar en la Cineteca del Matadero de Madrid entre el 28 de octubre y el 3 de noviembre, 2013.
