Moritz Feed Dog: The First Documentary Film Festival on Fashion in Spain

The first documentary fashion film festival in Spain Moritz Feed Dog is kicking off tomorrow in Barcelona. From May 14 to 17, the festival –in its first edition- will showcase ten amazing fashion documentaries from Dior and I to Traceable. Keep reading to see the program! Because if you cannot attend the event, at least you will have a list of films to watch when you have the opportunity. The official hashtag chosen for the Festival is #lamodaescultura [which means that 'Fashion is Culture']. Next, see the program and the trailers of the films.

El primer festival de cine documental sobre moda en España Moritz Feed Dog se estrena mañana en Barcelona. Del 14 al 17 de mayo, el festival –en su primera edición- mostrará diez interesantes documentales de moda desde Dior and I hasta Traceable. ¡Seguid leyendo para leer el programa! GG Fashion Market: fashion books in Barcelona

The market of books about fashion in Spanish GG Fashion Market (GGFM) kicked off today in its third edition in Barcelona. The event, organized by the publisher Gustavo Gili (GG), features a design competition addressed to fashion schools, a designers' corner, a lecture on ethical fashion by fashion consultant Elena Salcedo and more surprises. It is open to everyone and will end tomorrow (April 17). #GGFM2015: When? April 16 and 17 from 10 am to 9 pm. Where? At Gustavo Gili's headquarters at Rosselló 87-89 (metro L5: Hospital Clínic or Entença).

El mercado de libros de moda en castellano GG Fashion Market (GGFM) ha arrancado hoy en su tercera edición en Barcelona. La cita, organizada por la Editorial Gustavo Gili (GG), incluye un concurso de diseño dirigido a escuelas de moda, un córner de diseñadores, una charla sobre moda ética a cargo de la consultora de moda Elena Salcedo y más sorpresas. Marion Harper is a young indie-pop Catalan singer and songwriter from Barcelona, who made her dream a reality. One night she dreamed she released a demo and the next day she knew that it would be the theme of her research work at high school. With the objective of explaining the different essential steps to carry out the digital publishing of an EP, her project would go from the writing of the songs to the broadcasting of the music. Once she overcame the challenge, last June she presented her first single Where I belong and now she has released Fourth Ace, second taste of her first EP entitled Seasons released on 16th July. Marion Harper es una jovencísima cantante y compositora indie pop catalano-anglosajona de Hostalric, cerca de Barcelona, que hizo de un sueño una realidad. Una noche soñó que publicaba una maqueta y al día siguiente decidió que ese sería el tema de su trabajo de investigación (treball de recerca) en bachillerato. Con el objetivo de exponer los diferentes pasos necesarios para la publicación digital de un EP, su proyecto abarcaría desde la composición de las canciones hasta la difusión de la música. Superado el reto, a principios de junio presentaba su primer single Where I belong y ahora presenta Fourth Ace, un tema de avance de su primer EP titulado Seasons, que saldrá a la luz el próximo 16 de julio. 'The colors of Chanel': why black and white?

The colors of Chanel. That's the title of the latest chapter of the maison, which explains in three minutes why black and white are the signature of Chanel. Plus, why beige, gold and red are also emblematic colors. The video belongs to a series of original short films 'Inside Chanel' that recount Coco Chanel's life and the French firm's history. It's warm electro-pop with a melancholic feeling. You'll see that the beginning of the song reminds us of Chris DeBurgh's Lady In Red, but it has nothing to do with it. Call My Name is from their forthcoming debut LP. The track is just lovely and absolutely beautiful. It sounds so good... And if you like it, we recommend you to listen to Wings and All The Days.

Hoy traemos un poco de nostalgia con una canción estilo años ochenta de la banda Haerts de la ciudad de Nueva York y compuesta por Nini Fabi, Ben Gebert, Garrett Jenner y Derek McWilliams. Se trata de un sensual electro-pop con un toque melancólico. Veréis que el principio de la canción nos recuerda a Lady In Red de Chris DeBurgh, pero en realidad no tiene nada que ver. Call My Name proviene del próximo cuarto álbum de la banda y la canción es preciosa.
