Minions made it to the cover of British Vogue! The adorable yellow creatures have captivated the fashion industry in such a way that the "Priceless August issue of Vogue UK" counts with a minion on the front cover. The thing is that today the magazine has launched their new Vogue Video section and this cover is the result of the first film to appear under it. Next, you can watch the satirical short film that Vogue UK has shared presented by Vogue International Editor Suzy Menkes and featuring fashion designers such as Alber Elbaz (Lanvin) talking about "the influence of the yellow army on the history of international style". Estrella Damm's short film for summer

Summer's mood starts when Spanish beer Estrella Damm launches its advert for summer, which has become a must-see every year. This summer, for the first time, Estrella Damm has produced a short film. Directed by Alejandro Amenábar, the film titled Vale is starred by actress Dakota Johnson (50 Shades of Grey), the Goya Award-winning actor Quim Gutiérrez (The Last Days) and actress Natalia Tena (Game of Thrones). The locations you'll see are in Ibiza and Barcelona. We've loved it... You'll like it too!

Last Friday we attended the documentary fashion film festival Moritz Feed Dog and we watched The Next Black (2014), an interesting film presented by AEG focused on the future of clothing. Under the moonlight, Rihanna captivates the majestic Château de Versailles and its wide gardens in the new Dior video for its campaign Secret Garden, an annual saga of films by the maison. The video, filmed by fashion photographer Steven Klein, achieves a magic, sensual and glamorous result. The top moment of the video is when the pop singer appears dressed in a silver sequined Dior dress, carrying the Diorama bag and dancing in the spectacular Hall of Mirrors, which is covered by the darkness of the night. Moritz Feed Dog: The First Documentary Film Festival on Fashion in Spain

The first documentary fashion film festival in Spain Moritz Feed Dog is kicking off tomorrow in Barcelona. From May 14 to 17, the festival –in its first edition- will showcase ten amazing fashion documentaries from Dior and I to Traceable. Keep reading to see the program! Upcoming film release: 'The True Cost' of Fast Fashion

Exceptional creations from talented women at 'Morocco, desert colours' exhibition

At the Documentation Centre and Textile Museum of Terrassa, near Barcelona

VIBRANT HANDCRAFT. Morocco, desert colours is an exhibition that highlights the talents of some exceptional women weavers, who started to weave in the 1980s, from a very little-known Berber tribe, Aït Khebbach. The exhibit features their colourful carpets, blankets and cushions with surprising colour palettes, which are made from recycled wool. The exceptional pieces, which have left the desert for the first time, are displayed together with the portraits of the women who made them. French photographers Eric Ossart and Serge Anton introduce us to the lives of these women with video projections, pictures and soundscapes. Explore the textile creations from these tribeswomen from Morocco...

Las excepcionales piezas, que han abandonado el desierto por primera vez, se muestran junto con un retrato de la mujer que las ha confeccionado. The making of a Dior couture gown

IMPECCABLE CRAFTSMANSHIP. American website Refinery 29 partnered with the fashion publisher Visionaire to "get closer to couture —and to get you closer to couture-". To do so, they created an amazing video, which follows the journey of one Dior couture dress ("Look #53") from its creation to the runway. In the film, we can see the artisans and seamstresses meticulously working and we can watch how the accordion pleats of the skirt of the dress are made. This is a must-see! Hermès men’s autumn/winter collection 2014: 'Men etcetera'

Hermès, the luxury Parisian fashion house, has released Men etcetera, a short video that presents its men's autumn/winter 2014 collection. Created by Véronique Nichanian, the creative director of Hermès menswear, we can see the different pieces from the collection thanks to the "unusual reflections" of a "man in the mirror", who is the British model and dancer Anders Hayward. We think it's brilliant!

La firma de lujo parisina Hermès ha presentado Men etcetera, un vídeo breve que muestra la colección de hombre otoño/invierno 2014. Creado por Véronique Nichanian, directora artística de la colección masculina de Hermès, podemos ver las distintas piezas que forman la colección gracias a unos "inusuales reflejos" de un "hombre en un espejo", que es el modelo británico y bailarín Anders Hayward. ¡Creativo y genial!

This astonishing video shows us the craftsmanship behind the making of a shoe. We can see all the process of creation and production at Salvatore Ferragamo, one of the world's leaders in the luxury goods sector, whose origins date back to 1927. Footwear is the main part of its business. "Most of the manufacturing stages are done by machine, but the machine is always guided by man's experienced hand", as it says the firm's video description. The quality and the craftsmanship of the made in Italy tradition are some of the hallmarks of its products. It's really interesting and worth seeing! 

CÓMO SE FABRICAN LOS EXQUISITOS ZAPATOS DE MUJER DE SALVATORE FERRAGAMO. Este vídeo asombroso nos muestra la producción artesanal que se halla detrás de la creación de un zapato. Vemos el proceso de construcción y producción que siguen en Salvatore Ferragamo, uno de los líderes mundiales en el sector del lujo, cuyos orígenes se remontan a 1927. El calzado es su centro de negocio. "Gran parte de los procesos de la manufactura se llevan a cabo a máquina, pero la máquina siempre está guiada por la mano experta del hombre", como se dice en la descripción del vídeo de la firma. La calidad y la artesanía de la tradición made in Italy son algunos de los sellos distintivos de la marca. Es muy interesante y ¡vale la pena verlo!
